RSS Feeds

RSS is an easy way for you to receive local headlines from your local news station automatically as they are updated.

With RSS feeds (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) you stay informed when your local news station updates its web site with new local news stories. Web sites that provide feeds will display an orange RSS or XML icon of their home page.

How do I get a News Reader?

There are several free News Readers available. Many function like an email program. Different News Readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to take this into account when you make your choice. Some of the more popular News Reader programs are FeedDemon, RSS Reader and SharpReader.

Once you select a News Reader, copy the link below into your News Reader program. You can also click on the orange icon labeled "XML" at the bottom of the page to load the link into your browser.
